COMM: Modbus TCP version of Simocode
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi All,
We have a client who is currently using Siemens Simocode for drive I/O. This is then fed to a Profibus Master Controller and on to the DCS.

However, the new standard is to interface with the Honeywell C300 controllers over Modbus TCP/IP.

Consequently, we are looking for something similar to the simocode but preferably with Modbus TCP output rather than Profibus. After much hunting, I'm not sure if this exists.

We are reluctant to use Profibus-Modbus gateways/converters due to cabinet space limitations and, as always, extra cost, but if that ends up as the only solution, so be it.

The icing on the cake would be a solution that acts as a data concentrator as well.

Can anyone provide advice?
